André Kajlich is an endurance athlete, a motivational speaker, and a record-setting wheelchair athlete who has competed in ultra-endurance races around the world.
In 2003, he was hit and run over by a subway train while studying in the Czech Republic. One leg had to be amputated at the hip, the other halfway down my femur.
Learning to walk again was harder than any Ironman, but the process gave him a newfound commitment to tackling challenges and proving what we’re all capable of.
Here's André Kajlich's a (sample) list of accomplishments since his accident:
-2017 Race Across America Solo Finisher (1st Hand - Cyclist to Complete RAAM Ever)
-Only Wheelchair Athlete to Compete in Ultraman Triathlon
-2x ITU World Championships Silver Medalist
-Panamerican Paratriathlon Champion
-National Ironman 70.3 Champion
-USAT Paratriathlete of the Year
